With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey D. Freeman, (Boom) who was taken from us too soon on April 21, 2025, at the tender age of 47, where he was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 8, 1978 to Jeffrey Freeman Sr. and Kimarie (Tilton) Sullivan in Canton, OH.
Jeff was a graduate of GlenOak High School, Class of 1997. He owned and operated a trucking company for many years. Jeff loved spending time with his kids and family, watching and routing for his beloved Denver Broncos, going to his nephew’s football games, trips to the casinos, swimming, BBQs, (he loved making his secret BBQ sauce) he loved sneakers and fashion. He was known for his sense of humor and giving everyone a nickname. Just to name a few, Bub Puppy, Nick Naughty, Thunderbolt and Emo Dallas. He brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart and radiant smile. He was loved by everyone, and he will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by his loving children, Arianna Freeman, Novella Freeman (Samantha Jenkins), Keara Green, Nevaeh Fields and Dasia Fields (Sheena Cashner); grandchildren, Tru, Onyx and Asa; siblings, Eric (Karen) Tilton, Brenda (Reggie Craig) Freeman, Terrence Smith, and Nikki Napier - Claybourne; special nephew, Brenden Craig and niece, Andrea Tilton; stepmother, Carolyn Napier; special cousins, Annie (Lamont) Gamble, Charity Smith, Jessica Smith, Antoine Randle, Isiah Randle. Special Aunts, Gizelle (Robert) Young, Susie (Isiah) Randle and Deborah Roberson, a host of family and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jennell Freeman; and Aunt, Darlene (Cookie) Roberson.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio, with a Home Going Celebration at 11:00 am with Rev. William W. Luke, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Repass will be held at The Word Ministries 2130 31st St NW, Canton, OH 44709.
