Jeffrey Tilton "Fred" Fryman

Jeffrey Tilton "Fred" Fryman, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Cynthiana, KY. He was born on July 6, 1964, in Harrison County, KY, to Bonnie "Harlene" Fryman McCauley Welch, and the late Roy Tilton Fryman. Jeffrey is also preceded in death by a half-sister, Beverly Fryman; stepdad, Howard T. Welch Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Roscoe and Ruby McCauley.
Besides his mom, Jeffrey is survived by a brother, Leslie H. (Lisa) Fryman; sister, Dora Louann Fryman; half-brothers, Roy B. Fryman, Marshall Fryman; stepbrother, Howard T. (Mattie) Welch Jr.; stepsisters, Katherine (Roger) Beckett, Patricia (Carroll) Doyle; nephews, Corey M. Rogers, Peyton M. Boisseau; and many other nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was a 1982 Harrison County High School graduate, and a member of the Cynthiana Elks Lodge. He played softball for church and independent leagues for many years. A UK football fan and season ticket holder, he also cheered on the Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburg Steelers. Jeffrey was an avid train enthusiast, a collector of baseball cards, and loved WWII history.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be held the evening prior on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., also at Ware Funeral Home. There will be an Elk's Service beginning at 7:00 P.M., honoring Jeffrey. Bro. Dale Kendrick will lead services for Jeffrey, and burial will follow the service in Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenny Copes, Kevin Copes, Roger Marsh, Willie McCauley, Phillip McCauley, and Corey Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the Kentucky State Highway Department for Harrison County.
