Jeffrey Wayne Hinkle, born on March 8, 1968, in Nashville, Tennessee, departed this life on December 9, 2025, in Springfield, Tennessee. He was a beloved figure to many and leaves behind cherished memories that will be held close by his family and friends.
Jeff devoted his entire career to the Hinkle Chair Company, where he was known for his dedication and hard work. He attended Springfield High School and Jeff enjoyed a full life filled with various interests and hobbies. He had a passion for playing softball, as well as a keen eye for collecting coins, knives, guns, and antiques. His love for riding motorcycles often took him on adventures that he relished with a sense of enthusiasm and joy. Through all his endeavors, he exemplified a spirit of generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
Jeff’s adoration for his family and friends was well known. He derived immense pride from his son, Jacob "Jake" (Jazmyn) Hinkle, the life they shared, and the future they were building together. He also leaves behind his sister, Diane Hinkle (Robert) Johnson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry his memory forward.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William W. Hinkle, Sr. and Ora Sue Smith Hinkle, and his brother, William "Bill" W. Hinkle, Jr., who have surely welcomed him into their embrace.
A visitation honoring Jeff will be held on December 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Jeff Hinkle will be deeply missed, but the impact he made in the lives of those who knew him will endure. His legacy of love, friendship, and dedication will continue to inspire all who remember him.
