Jeffrey Lee Husong, 63, of Bixby, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on February 10, 1962, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to Raymond Lee Husong and Venita Sue Crank.

Jeffrey spent his early years in Little Kansas and Jay, Oklahoma, later moving to Jenks and eventually settling with his family in Liberty Mounds. He attended Liberty Mounds Public Schools alongside his brothers, Tommy Quinton Husong and Raymond Mark Husong, and later went on to study at Tulsa Junior College.

During his school years, Jeffrey was recognized for both his academic and musical talents, earning a place on the Superintendent's Honor Roll and receiving the prestigious John Philip Sousa Band Award.

He married Elizabeth Katherine Brown, and they shared 15 years of marriage before parting ways in 2001. Together, they raised two sons, whom Jeffrey loved dearly.

A man of many interests, Jeffrey enjoyed golfing, fishing, billiards, and bowling. He was known for his kindness, generosity, quick wit, and intelligence. Above all, he cherished his role as a grandfather and found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren.

Jeffrey is survived by his sons, Corey Lee Husong and his wife Taylor, and Kyle Tanner Husong; his beloved grandchildren, Mason Husong and Remi Husong; his brother, Raymond Mark Husong and wife Angela Diane Husong; and his nieces and nephews: Eric, Kristen, Justin, Alex, Josh, Cody, Amber, and Johnathan. He also leaves behind numerous cousins and many others who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Lee Husong (2005) and Venita Sue Crank (1996); his grandparents, John Elward Husong (1973) and Ruth Ellen Lamont (1997); and his brother, Tommy Quinton Husong (2004).

Jeffrey will be remembered for his big heart, sharp mind, and the love he shared with family and friends. His memory will live on in all who knew him.
