Jeffrey Jacobs Obituary

Jeffrey "Jeff" Scott Jacobs, born on April Fool's Day in 1974 in the chilly lands of Minnesota, made his grand exit from this world on August 3, 2025, at the age of 51. He transformed Virginia Beach, Virginia, from a sunny vacation spot to the final scene of his life's party.

A charismatic and fun-loving fellow, Jeff was a man of many charms, but none greater than his ability to liven up any room, be it through his witty banter or his legendary dance moves. His love for parties was second only to his love for friends and family, often leaving a trail of laughter and unforgettable memories wherever he went.

Professionally, Jeff was an HVAC Technician extraordinaire at Johnstone Supply, where he could cool down the fiercest furnace or warm up the iciest heart.

Though not one for weekly church services, Jeff believed in a higher power-if only to occasionally pray for the Eagles to win another Super Bowl. He could be seen sitting in a church pew about once every decade-just enough to keep up divine appearances.

Generosity was Jeff's calling card, albeit to a fault. He'd give you the shirt off his back, even if it meant he'd need to borrow one from you the next day.

Preceded in death by his mother, Roberta, Jeff leaves behind a lively cast of family and friends: his spirited father Gerald; his steadfast brother Brian; sister-in-law Rebecca who always laughed at his jokes; his nephew Tyler; his niece Madelyn; and last but not least, Reggie, his four-legged, tail-wagging nephew.

In true Jeff fashion, there will be no formal services held in his honor. But just as he would've wanted, raise a glass, share a story, and dance like no one's watching in memory of the man who lived life like one endless, amazing party.
