Jeff Knott passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 8, 2025. Jeff was born on June 22, 1952 in Madison, Wisconsin to Harold and Elinor Knott. Jeff enjoyed working outdoors and spent the majority of his working life in landscaping building boulder retaining walls. In his spare time, he enjoyed making memories fishing with his sons, teaching them life skills, responsibility, and how to have fun and love life. Anyone that knew Jeff knows his sense of humor and jokes filled the room with joy and laughter. Jeff also enjoyed watching MASH, Gunsmoke, and like most Wisconsinites, the Green Bay Packers, and living his life to the fullest.
Jeff is survived by his son, Luke Knott (Coral Petzold); grandchildren Silas and Gianna; sister Jody Knott (Jeff Weigen); brother Chad Knott; mother of his children Linda Knott and nieces Jaimi and Jinna. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends that he has met throughout life.
Jeff is preceded in death by his son, Ryan Knott, his parents, and a sister Kristy Sweet.
A private service has been held.
