WHITESBORO – Jeffrey E. Koch, 68, formerly of Clinton Street, passed away on October 28, 2025, at Gowanda Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gowanda, NY.
Mr. Koch was born on June 9, 1957 in Albany, a son of the late Gustav and Marillyne (Brown) Koch. Jeff graduated from West Canada Valley Central School in 1975. He immediately enrolled in the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School and served in the U. S. Army from 1976-1977. He was honorably discharged at the rank of SP4. After his military service, he furthered his education at Fredonia University until a tragic automobile accident caused his disablement on November 4, 1978. Jeff was the first wheelchair participant in the Utica Boilermaker and excelled at this for many years. He was a member of the Whitesboro American Legion Post #1113.
Survivors include his twin sister, Judy (John) Sadlon of Gowanda; and several nieces and nephews. Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents, Gustav and Marillyne Koch.
In accordance with Jeffrey's wishes, there will be no calling hours or public services. He will be interred in the family plot at Middleville Rural Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Autenrith Funeral Home, Newport.

So sorry for your loss. I knew Jeff for many years. My thoughts are with you during this time. My cat Gracie would go with him to the elevator at Mary buck. He was a fantastic man.

So sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He was a great guy. I would find him in my yard petting my dogs.
