Jeffrey McCall Obituary
Jeff was born on April 8, 1969 in Gaston County, NC a son of Jeanne Patterson Arthur of Cherryville and the late Dean Lafayette McCall. He was owner and operator of Cyclone Trucking in Cherryville. Jeff was an avid sprint car racing fan and worked on pit crews in the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Racing and many other series. He was a decorated U.S. Army veteran serving in the 101st Airborne as an Army Ranger.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife Leigh Riggins McCall of the home; a son, Devin Hoskins of Cherryville; two step sons, Spencer Trivette of Wilson; Luke Trivette of Charlotte; a grandson, Stetson Lee Hoskins; a brother, J.T. Arthur of Cherryville and his beloved dogs, Molly and Cash.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Brock Buchanan officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Cherryville American Legion Post 100 Honor Guard.
The family will greet friends following the service.
Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to Cherryville American Legion Post 100, 215 N. Pink Street, Cherryville, NC 28021.

We here at Saldana Racing Products were saddened to here of Jeffs passing. We will definitely miss his smile and great sense of hummer and visits at the PRI Show.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Jeff. We, here in Wndom, MN remember when we helped him with his sprint car and crew a couple of years ago during the Jackson Nationals & also helping down at the Knoxville Nationals. We had good times and will always have the memorys.
