Celebration of Life for Jeffrey Scott McPherson will be 10: 00 A.M., Monday, April 7, 2025 in the Westhill Church of Christ in Cleburne. Private family graveside. Viewing will be 5-7:00 P.M., Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Jeffrey Scott McPherson, 63, of Godley, Texas, passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2025. He was born on September 18, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Billy and Eddie McPherson.
Jeffrey grew up in Godley, where he attended Godley High School. It was there that he met the love of his life, “Sue Baby”. High school sweethearts (actually Junior High sweethearts), they married shortly after graduation, in 1980, and built a beautiful life together, raising three children in their hometown.
A devoted husband, father, and Papa, Jeffrey was a true family man who would do anything for anyone. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife, Sue McPherson; his mother, Eddie McPherson; and his three children: Jennifer Black and husband Brandon of Godley, Jessica McFarlin and husband John of Keene, and Justin McPherson and wife Kate of Cisco. He was the proud Papa of Kyle and Kennedy Black, Brynleigh and Bryson McFarlin, and Collins, Quinn, and Jameson McPherson.
He is also survived by his siblings: Cheri Johnson and husband Ricky of Mineral Wells, Paul McPherson and wife DiAnne of Godley, Danna Allen and husband Todd of Godley, and Stacy Brown and husband Bryan of Godley. Jeffrey leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy McPherson.
Jeffrey’s legacy of love, selflessness, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
Jeffrey will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
