A funeral service for Wanda Jean Faulkner, 77, of Grandview, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, Texas 76033, with Reverend Charles Payne and Chaplain Eddy Carrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, 960 E. Second St., Cleburne, with Joey Thompson, B.J. Thompson, Nathan Barrett, Danny Faulkner, Jr, Dustin Sheeler and Danny Faulkner, Sr. serving as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Wanda Jean Faulkner, a beloved member of the Cleburne community, passed away on October 25, 2025, in her hometown, where she was born on November 17, 1947. Wanda lived a full life dedicated to her family and career. For over 27 years, she made significant contributions as a surgery technician, showcasing her commitment to healthcare and the well-being of others.
Wanda was married for 42 beautiful years to her husband, Ronnie Faulkner, who predeceased her. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy. She is survived by her cherished children, Danny Faulkner, Tammy Faulkner, and Lisa Sheeler, along with her husband Rodney. Wanda’s legacy continues through her Grandchildren, Ashley, Brandi, Danny Jr., Colburn, Britany, and Dustin, and Great-Grandchildren, Nathan, Carmen, Dalton, Lenyx, Maddison, Kaden, Kendall, Kylie, Landon, Journey, Harper, who all brought her immense happiness.
Beyond her professional achievements, Wanda had a passion for life that manifested in her hobbies and interests. She loved playing dominos, gardening, and cooking, often bringing her family together around the dinner table to share in her culinary creations. The time she spent with her family was invaluable to her, and she will be deeply missed by each one of them.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Lilburn and Gracie Thompson, her brothers, Larry and Billy Jack Thompson, and her sister, Kathy Thompson. Each of them held a special place in her heart and left lasting memories that will be cherished by those who remember her.
Wanda Jean Faulkner’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family and career will always be remembered and celebrated by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
