Jeffery Lee Morgan, 68, of Macon, GA, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 23, 2025, in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd. Macon, GA 31216. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Immediately following services Mr. Morgan will be laid to rest in Sandersville City Cemetery. Pastor Rick Arrowood will be officiating all services.
Born on February 21, 1957, in Blytheville, Arkansas, Mr. Morgan was the son of the late Thomas and Betty Morgan. He was a graduate of Southwest High School and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church. A dedicated and skilled professional, Mr. Morgan worked for many years as a Machinist and Industrial Mechanic, ultimately becoming the owner and operator of his own business, Morgan Machine and Industrial Repair.
In addition to his career, Mr. Morgan served faithfully as a bi-vocational Minister of Music at several local churches. His passion for music extended into his work with the Messenger's Quartet, with whom he sang for many years. Above all, he was a devoted husband and a loving father to his two sons.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dudley Morgan; his sister, Janet Morgan; and his wife of 44 years, Dotty (Ivey) Morgan.
He is survived by his two sons, Scott Morgan and Brandon Morgan; daughters-in-law, Dharma Morgan and Natalie Webb; and grandchildren, Daniel Morgan, Dominic Webb-Morgan, and Gabriel Webb-Morgan.
