Bellingham, MA. Jeffrey was born on November 20th, 1968, in Cambridge MA to Sandra
(Argento) and the late Russell Newcombe. Jeffrey grew up in Natick, MA and spent his adult
years living with his family in Bellingham MA.
He was a beloved husband of Penny (Fox) Newcombe. Devoted father of Jeffrey "JJ"
Newcombe Jr., Jordyn Newcombe, and Rachel Newcombe. Cherished brother of Jessica
Newcombe and January Windell.
Jeffrey was an avid lover of sports, having coached youth sports for 20-plus years while being a
long-time Physical Education teacher at Walsh Middle School. One of his proudest
accomplishments was organizing the annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament at Walsh Middle
School raising over $250,000 over 20 years running the fundraiser for the school. He was a
member of IAABO and CMBUA as an official and umpire. Most of all, enjoyed spending time
with his family on vacations and other various adventures.
Jeffrey had an infectious and caring personality as he looked out for others and was known for
his humor and compassion, touching the lives of everyone he met by making them smile, laugh,
and feel loved.
Funeral Services will be held at Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St Natick MA (Natick
Common) Saturday, March 16th at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Visiting hours are on Friday, March 15th from 4:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home. For directions

My first memory of Jeff was during one of the icebreakers during new employee orientation. We were throwing a sponge ball around in the room to a random person to introduce ourselves to each other. When he threw the ball to me, it hit me in the face and everyone laughed including. Jeff asked me everyday for maybe a week if I was ok and kept saying sorry. He took his job pretty seriously but he was a good guy. We did not have enough time to get to know him. He is going to be very missed! I am sorry for his family´s loss.

Jeff liked to give nicknames. He called me Holly Lobby (it´s a story). I didn´t know him long, we were both newbies at Barbieri this year. But I am so grateful I got to know him. He was kind and funny and I will miss him a lot!
