Jeffrey Lee Ratcliffe, 64, a charismatic, ornery, honest, unfiltered, outspoken, dependable, selfless and loving Father, brother and uncle passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Ascension Via Christ Saint Francis Hospital after a motorcycle accident.
A 1979 student of Hutchinson High School who was a long-haul truck driver.
He is survived by his son, Alexander Lee Ratcliffe of Wichita; sister, Cheryl Ratcliffe; beloved pitbulls, Maynard, Izzy and Brinkley, as well as his half-sister, and multiple half-brothers, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his older brother, Darrell Dean Ratcliffe Jr; mother, Marylyn Helen Case (Lemen); his oldest son, Joshua Shawn Ratcliffe; beloved pitbulls, Cyrus, Nikkita, Judith and Bella and multiple cousins.
Public visitation will be the morning of June 7, 2025, from 10 am to 11am with his son present at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 East 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS. A celebration of life will be held immediately afterward starting at 11am followed by burial at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, KS at approximately 12 noon. While flowers are accepted, donations are strongly encouraged and preferred made directly to Alexander Ratcliffe. Please see his facebook page for more details. Other gifts may also be left in care of at the funeral home for pick-up.
