Patty Lou (Hensley) Phillips, age 86 of Hutchinson, Kansas died March 12th. She was born September 5, 1939 in Winfield, Kansas to Merle E. and Viola Opal (Rotha) Hensley.

Pat grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas and graduated from Hutchinson High School. She worked as a bank teller for two different Hutchinson banks before marrying Harley Phillips on May 14, 1965 and starting her family. Pat loved animals of all kinds, especially her sweet "little Maudie girl" English Setter, and even talked Harley into raising buffalo for a few years. Their friends are numerous and devoted, being particularly supportive during the final months of her life.

Pat was very active in her church, Zion Lutheran, throughout her life and in particular enjoyed singing in the choir. In later years, she spent many happy hours at the Delos V. Smith Senior Center participating in their activities and going to garage and estate sales collecting mugs and stuffed animals.

Survivors include husband Harley Phillips, daughter Faith Tucker (Steve), son Zach Phillips (Nikki), three grandchildren Kaitlin Tucker, Brandi Phillips, Colton Tucker (Meagan) and three great granddaughters Cadley, Camille and Marlowe. Her youngest brother; Les Hensley (Marilyn) and many nieces and nephews.
