Jeffrey Rindone Obituary
Jeff was born January 24, 1955, in Council Bluffs to P. Paul and Obtiva "Obie" (Pickering) Rindone. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1973 and attended IWCC. Jeff married Jacqueline O'Brien on May 31, 1974, in Council Bluffs. To this union three children were born. Jeff worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 34 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Council Bluffs.
Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Michael G. Rindone (in the Vietnam War) in 1968 and daughter-in-law, Audrey Rindone in 2005.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Rindone, of Kansas City; son, Brien Rindone of Algona, Iowa; daughters, Shannon Peacher and husband, Josh, of Omaha, Neb., Sheila Adair and husband, Doug, of Kansas City; 9 grandchildren; parents, Paul and Obie Rindone of Council Bluffs; sisters, Paulette Dyson and husband, Steve, of Des Moines, Iowa, Danette Cyr of Omaha; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family, Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery. A lunch will follow at First Baptist Church. The family will direct memorials.

I can't believe Ev thought of this, too.I have Jeff's picture up by the computer, Jacquie. Ev,you and him, Lisa,Chuck---the whole crowd from that night. We ALL miss him, I think of him often. Please email me if you need anything. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was going through some past pictures last night, and reminicing about Jeff, Jackie, and our eating pizza at the Pizza King. I've really missed Jeff, his humour, and his smiles.
I pray that this past year has brought some healing from Jeff's passing. He will ALWAYS be remembered by all those who loved him.

Paul,Obie,Jackie and family. Words cannot express the sadness we felt with the news of Jeff's passing. I remember all the good times we had growing up in the church. Softball, and bowling just to name a few.Jeff was always a star in everything he did.He and Mike right now are probably playing a game .....up there.Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jackie: Every time I think of Jeff I remember him with a smile on his face. I remember sitting next to him just this past August at the class reunion reminiscing about junior high and high school. He was such a great guy. I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I worked in the same building with Jeff and got to know him well. Sitting at McDonalds with him for lunch always guaranteed that I would be laughing through most of lunch. He always had some sort of story that led to another one and then to another one, all interspersed with lots and lots of laughter.
I'll miss walking in to eat, seeing him sitting in the same place every time (unless someone took HIS booth).
Keeping Jeff in my memories and in my prayers!!!

No one can say enough to help you through this painful time. I thought alot of Jeff. He was so good to everyone whose life he touched. I am going to miss him so much. I felt he was a very good friend to me. I never expected it, but he just showed up at my StepDad's visitation and he showed up at a moment in time that I needed a friend to lean on. I had the pleasure of working with Jeff at UPRR from 1999 - 2003 (I would come from St. Louis to assist in projects). We always had such good talks about life, work and family. I know that he loved his children, grandchildren and wife very much as he had such a proud look when he talked about each of you.
I wish there were words that I could express that would comfort the hurt, loss, and sadness I know that you are all feeling at this time.
