Jeffrey Patrick Rombach, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 73. Jeffrey was born on October 10, 1951, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Joseph Hugh Rombach and Virginia Ann (Smith) Rombach.
After completing his education at St. Stephens High School, where he graduated in the Class of 1969, Jeff pursued further studies at Delta College. He commenced a career that spanned over four decades, starting with Kmart for ten years, followed by an impressive 25 years at Prudential Insurance. He concluded his working years at Art Van Furniture, where he retired after 10 years of dedicated service.
Jeff was a lifetime member of Saginaw Field and Stream, where his commitment to the organization earned him a prestigious 45-year member award, of which he was extremely proud. Jeff’s love for the outdoors was evident in his love of hunting, fishing, and golfing, activities that allowed him to share joy and camaraderie with friends and family alike. Most of all Jeff loved his family. He loved to spend time with his grandsons and his son-in-law Jason, who he thought of as his son.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Sarah J. Rombach, whom he married on April 28, 1973. Jeff is also survived by his daughters, Darcy (Jason) Leszinske and Corry Rombach; three grandsons, Quade (Angelica) Leszinske, Chase Leszinske, and Jaxen Leszinske; one great-grandson Wyatt Leszinske; three siblings, Janet (Dave) Sisson, Patrick Rombach, and Mary Beth (Barry) Nelson, and a sister-in-law, Pamela Rombach; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Hugh Rombach and Virginia Ann (Smith) Rombach; and his brother, Joseph M. Rombach.
