Jeffrey Sassi

Jeffrey Sassi, 64, of Penns Grove, passed away on August 6, 2025. Born in Mannington, he was the son of the late Robert and Pearl McGuffy Sassi. A graduate of Penns Grove High School, Jeffrey was a proud member of Local 251 and later became self-employed, working in construction and remodeling. He was known for his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and dedication to the projects and people he served. Jeffrey is survived by his son, Nicholas Sassi; his siblings, Robert Sassi (Debbie), Carol Rappa, Sherry Newsome (Paul), Woody Biddle (Rebecca), Patricia Sassi, Robert Biddle (Katie), Dawn Biddle Ottinger, Wanda Biddle, and Mary Sassi; his three grandchildren, Antonio, Gracie, and Kaden; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Jeffrey Jr.; and three siblings, Donna Posley, Latitia Biddle, and Jane Sassi. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ. The family will greet visitors beginning at 10:00 AM, with the service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
