Born October 8, 1956, in Cold Spring, NY, Steven was the son of the late Frank V. and Edwina (Altmann) Sassi. He had a 35-year career at Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, NY, retiring with the rank of sergeant. He attended Sterling United Methodist Church and LaAnna United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Beverly Sassi; and two daughters: Sarah Sassi and Samantha Sassi, all of Newfoundland, PA.
Private services were held by the family.
Memorials may be made to In lieu of flowers or donations, the family wishes that you give of yourself to others by remembering to be kind.
