Jeffrey Allen Servies

Jeffrey Allen Servies, 66, of Rossville, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Milner Health and Retirement. He was born December 27, 1958, in Frankfort, to Edward Allen Servies and Mary Elizabeth (Robbins) Phillips.

Jeff was a graduate of Frankfort Senior High School, class of 1978. He worked several jobs over his years, two of his favorites were working at the Hoosierland Roller Rink and South Side Elementary School. He was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He volunteered with FEMA and Red Cross where he helped with CPR classes. He loved working and playing on computers, roller skating, bowling, storm chasing, and listening to his police scanner. He enjoyed working with children and sharing his passions. He had a heart to for helping and caring for others. When he found something that he loved, he gave his all to it, and when someone told him he couldn’t, he would find a way. But above all, his family was his love, especially his nieces and great niece.

Jeff is survived by his sisters, Samantha (Tom) Carney and Lyn (Phil) Burkle; stepsiblings, Jody Wallace, Mike Phillips, Jeff Phillips, and Jay Phillips; nieces, Shelby Brock and Alexandra Burkle; great niece, Zoey Shelley; and special aunts, Margaret Bryner and Becky Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lisa Gail Servies; brother, Edward Allen Servies; and stepdad, John Phillips.

Per Jeff’s wishes, no services are planned. Day & Genda Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. He will be laid to rest with his parents at Scott Cemetery near Scircleville.
