Jeffrey Smith Obituary
He was born in Muncie on March 27, 1961, the son of Robert and Virginia Mae (Myers) Smith and graduated from Yorktown High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team.
Jeff worked for AT&T for twenty-two years until their closing. He later worked as a certified Phlebotomist. He enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, hiking and fishing. He also enjoyed golf and cooking. Jeff loved to spend time with his three grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of forty-one years, Denise Smith; two sons, Jason Smith and Kyle Smith (wife, Jannin); his grandchildren, Isaac and Samantha Alvarenga and Harrison James Smith; a brother, Steve Smith (wife, Christy); nieces, Elyssa Smith and Ashlyn Smith; cousins, Randy Myers (wife, Janet), Terry Burns (wife, Kim), Robert Smith (wife, Brandy); along with several other cousins.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family may call from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
