Jeffrey Stone

Jeffrey Stone, age 60, of Gillett, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 26, 1964, in Elmira, NY, a son of Howard Jr. and Doris (Sheets) Stone. Jeffrey was married to Tammy (Steves) Stone. He worked as custodian for Elmira City School District. Jeffrey enjoyed shooting guns, working on cars, and BBQing. He participated in the fire department and was a part of the Gillett Boys.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Tammy; two sons, Bruce (Anastacea) Alexander, Jr. of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, and Chance Alexander of Gillett, PA; two daughters, Kayla (Michael) Nash of Mansfield, PA, and Hanna (Will) Alexander of Middlebury Center, PA; a daughter-in-law, Tasha Hartman of Elmira, NY; eight grandchildren, Brendan, Kemper, Krimson, Brianna, Ella, Aspen, Issabella, and Leonard III; a brother, Howard III (Tonya) Stone, of Pine City, NY; two sisters, Debbie (David) Rockwell of Gillett, PA, and Cindy (Mike) Culver of Gillett, PA; many nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Shawn Decker of Natural Bridge, NY. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandi Shock; a granddaughter, Mazikeen; and a sister, Hazel Stone.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 4-5pm at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 5pm with Pastor Ozzie Osgood officiating. Burial will take place in Ashland Cemetery in Wellsburg, NY at the convenience of the family. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
