Jeff made me feel so welcome when my family and I moved to Russiaville in 2003. Since then I've listened to countless stories and history lessons. As a pastor I learned this year just how spoiled we were as clergy by Jeff and his staff and their attention to every little detail! I was leading a funeral and we were going to be singing a specific hymn. He handed everyone a copy of the hymn as they were seated, but failed to tell me the copy I had was a different arrangement! While I sang the unique verse everyone just stared and looked at their copy then started in singing again when our lines matched! Mine had an extra verse and line two was different than everyone else's. I will miss his smile, his voice, his unique laugh, and our many stories to and from the cemetery! My last ride with him was following the December 11, death of Our beloved Hellen Hollingsworth when Jeff Sr. and Jake ministered to me in that immediate loss! My heart is truly broken and I think of him almost minute by minute. Love and prayers to everyone in the family and staff!
