Jeffrey Louis "Jeff" Swink, age 64, of Rhodelia, KY, passed away at home with his family by his side on Thursday, July 3, 2025. He was born on October 30, 1960, in Rhodelia, KY, son of the late Dessie "Decie" Mae Smith Swink and Johnnie Douglas Swink. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Swink; brother, Doug Swink; and nephew, Joshua Swink. Jeff worked as a farmer and was the owner of Jeff Swink Logging. He was the type of man that led by example-- teaching with loud words, patient hands, and a humble heart. Jeff always took care of others, and had no problem volunteering his kids and grandkids to come help him too. Though his hands were rough from a lifetime of labor, his heart was soft. A man of quiet strength and deep love, he leaves behind a legacy built on hard work, dedication, and the kind of unwavering spirit that shapes generations. Jeff was a dedicated husband, father, brother, Papaw, uncle, and friend, and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Gina Teris Swink; children, Felicia Clark of Webster, Adam Long of Irvington, Misty Swink of Rhodelia, Mandy Sturgeon of Brandenburg, Johnie Swink of Rhodelia, and Amber Swink of Rhodelia; sisters, Kitty Mae Swink and Kathy Poe of Lewisport; brother, Ricky Swink of Lewisport; and 11 grandchildren, Hannah (Corey), HayLee, Chelsea (Tyler), Ethan, Allie, Brianna, Dawson, Whaylon, Abbygail, Tyler, and Marie. Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 4-8:00 P.M. and will continue after 9:00 A.M. on Thursday. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11:00 A.M with Bro. Charlie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in St. Theresa Cemetery.
