Jeffrey Robert Tarleton, of Ridgewood, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, at his brother Brian's home in Michigan, after courageously battling pancreatic cancer for more than a year. He was 57.

Born on December 7, 1967, in Ridgewood to Brian and Janet Tarleton, Jeff grew up in the community that shaped his lifelong friendships and memories. He graduated from Ridgewood High School class of 1986, prior to earning his degree in accounting from Arizona State University.

Jeff's career took him across the country and around the world. He spent many years with Ingersoll Rand, traveling to five continents and visiting 49 U.S. states. Most recently, he was based in Phoenix, AZ, where he worked for Wells Fargo.

Jeff had a passion for travel, music, movies, trivia, and the Yankees. He had a gift for making people laugh, a taste for a good drink, and a deep devotion to his friends and family.

He is survived by his siblings Brian Jr., Kevin, Keith, Mark, Michael, and Jennifer, and by his beloved nieces and nephews Tori, Brian, Mick, Jimmy, Dannny, Victoria, and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brian and Janet Tarleton.

Jeff was loved by many and will be remembered for his humor, generosity, and the joy he brought to others.
