Jeffrey Thornton Tucker

Jeffrey Thornton Tucker, age 71 of Washington Crossing, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. Born in Key West, FL, Mr. Tucker was a resident of Washington Crossing since 1992, moving there from Yardley, PA.
He was a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned his Juris Doctorate from Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, PA. Prior to his retirement, Jeffrey was an attorney with King-Spry in Bethlehem, PA for over 15 years. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and served on their Board of Directors. A proud Army Veteran, Mr. Tucker was a former President of the Morrisville/Yardley Rotary Club and a member of the Spray Beach Yacht Club in Long Beach Island. He loved to sail, play golf and enjoyed taking bike rides.
Son of the late James and Helen (Storms) Tucker, he is survived by his loving wife Carol (Ryan) Tucker, two daughters and sons-in-law Amanda and James Dougherty of Pottstown, PA and Sarah Tucker and Graham Scott of Perkasie, PA, a son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Tamara Tucker of New York City, and five grandchildren, Madeline, Elizabeth and Tucker Dougherty and Lewin and Lila Tucker.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his Memorial Mass on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 2nd St, Beach Haven, NJ 08008, where friends may call from 10 AM until time of Mass. His interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in Jeffrey's name may be made to the charity of their choice or to the food pantry of St. Francis Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd. Branch Beach, NJ 08008.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
