Jenene Whitlow Smith of Tucker, GA was born in Carnesville, GA on June 19, 1931.
She was the youngest child of Moody and Janie Whitlow. Jenene passed away peacefully Thursday, April 25, 2024, with her loving family by her side.
Jenene, known to so many as Nene, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She had a keen sense of humor, was an avid conversationalist and loved trying new things. Jenene loved nature and travelling (especially the beach), was an avid walker, a great cook and entertainer but most of all she loved her family. Jenene's presence will forever be missed, but her memory will on in our hearts forever.
Jenene is survived by her husband Harold of 72 years, 2 sons Paul (Angela), Andy (Lauren), five grandchildren, Michael (Nikki), Grey, Max, Logan, and Ford, and two great grandchildren Kylie and Joanna. She was preceded in death by song David (Kathy), her four brothers and sister, Talmadge, Leonard, Hallie, Ford, Stanton and parents Moody and Janie.
Funeral services will be under the care of A. S. Turner and Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Rd, Decatur GA 30033.
A visitation will be held Sunday, May 5th from 2:30 - 4:00 at A.S. Turner followed by a 4:00 Chapel service conducted by close family friend Reverend Brent L. White.
