Jennette Lippman Garry

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jennette "Jenny" Lippman Garry at the young age of 50. Jenny was born in Milford, Delaware on September 15, 1974 to her father Mark Curtis Lippman and mother Mary Anne Greenly. On September 10, 2025 she was called home to her Lord and Savior, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

With Jenny's passing, we remember a life filled with immense love and constant caring for others. In 1998 she graduated from the nursing program at Wake Technical Community College and obtained her NC Registered Nurse license. She spent the next 24 years working at Wake Med in Raleigh as a trauma nurse in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit. In this role she nurtured, cared for and ministered to hundreds of patients and their families during their time of need.

Jenny's passion to help others was not confined to her workplace. From 2006 to 2013 she volunteered at Wilton Elementary School, where both of her children, Alyssa and Jacob, attended. During these years she served in various roles including room parent, classroom volunteer, President of School Beautification Committee, and the Interim PTO President.

When Jenny's children transitioned to middle and high school at Falls Lake Academy (FLA) she transitioned right along with them. From 2013 to 2021 she took on many volunteer roles and projects, including: creating the Honors/AIG Talent Identification Protocol; FLA Band Fundraiser Officer; FLA Ladies Middle School Basketball Team Mom; classroom substitute teacher; and the FLA Men's Varsity Soccer Team Mom.

From 2022 until her recent passing, Jenny was a faithful volunteer with NC State University Free Moms. This grass-roots non-profit organization is composed of moms, dads and grandparents that lend listening ears and comforting hugs to promote positive mental health for the student community. As the Free Moms Dog Coordinator, Jenny created the safety protocol and training procedures that presently allow nearly 100 dogs to share their "paw-fect" love at Free Moms events on campus.

Jenny found just as many opportunities to serve others outside of school environments. From 2007 to 2015 she served as a Girl Scout troop leader in Wake County. In this influential role she taught life skills, confidence and teamsmanship to her daughter and other young girls in the group.

Jenny was a regular volunteer for numerous organizations including Wake County Meals on Wheels, soup kitchens and food banks in the Raleigh/Wake Forest area, and the Women's Center of Wake County.

As her final act of servitude, Jenny is donating both of her corneas to Miracles in Sight, which will allow 2 people to regain the gift of sight.

Jenny was the proud and loving mother of her two children, Alyssa and Jacob, and best friend to her adoring husband, Keith, all of whom she lived her life for.

Jenny enjoyed spending time with her family, doing arts and crafts, cooking for family and friends, traveling, and loving her big beautiful Great Dane / Husky mixed dog named Quinn.

Jenny was preceded in death by a sister, Stephanie Brantley, her grandfather, Lt. Colonel Leonard E. Greenly, and a cousin, Shawn Lippman.

Jenny is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Keith Thomas Garry of Youngsville, NC; one daughter, Alyssa Anne Garry (Gresham) of Opelika, AL; one son, Jacob Thomas Garry of Youngsville, NC; her mother, Mary Anne Greenly (Brantley) of Spring Hope, NC; her father, Mark Curtis Lippman of Bunn, NC; a sister, Toni Alexandra Lippman of Zebulon, NC; a sister, Kristin Nicole Lippman of Knightdale, NC, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

A celebration of life service will be held at 5 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-5 PM at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
