Jennifer Altounian (Ayers), a devoted wife, cherished mother, and a guiding light to thousands, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Steve Altounian and the proud mother of Baela, Drake, and Hagen, each of whom carry forward her boundless love and unwavering spirit.
Jennifer dedicated her life to teaching children and infants a priceless, life-saving skill: the ability to swim. Through her passion, patience, and dedication, she equipped thousands with confidence and safety in the water, creating ripples of impact that extended far beyond her lessons. Her students and their families will forever remember Miss Jen for her gentle encouragement and compassionate guidance.
Above all, Jennifer was a pillar of strength and love for her family. Her kindness, energy, humor, and devotion to her husband and children defined her. Whether she was cheering at her kids' events, hosting family gatherings, or simply sharing a quiet moment at home, Jennifer's presence made every occasion brighter and more meaningful.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Steve, her daughter, Baela, and her sons, Drake and Hagen. Mother (Patricia), Brothers Jud and Daniel, sisters Lisa and Rebekah and many more family members including step parents, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Her legacy of love, laughter, and service to others will continue to shine through her family and the countless lives she touched.
A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on December 14th from 10-1pm at Walkins Brothers Funeral home in Howell, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share in the joy she brought to the world.
