Jennifer Marie (Buck) Beard of Akron, Ohio passed away on February 7, 2025. Jennifer was born on March 25, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to Donald and Edna Buck. Jennifer was a 1964 graduate of Ellet High School.
Jennifer met the love of her life Douglas Beard and they married on May 25, 1968. She lived for her children and grandchildren and was always proud and supportive of all of their accomplishments. Her most favorite thing was spending time with the family from everything to picnics in their backyard on every summer holiday, to a loving holiday feast and her most favorite place was spending time at the family cabin in Pennsylvania with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived and is deeply missed by her loving husband of 56 years Doug, Her children Dan (Melissa) Beard, Jim (Elizabeth) Beard and Julie (Kristofer) Kupper. Cherishing her memory are her grandchildren who loved and adored her Laura (Erick Beach), Michael, Olivia, Kathryn and Abigail Kupper, Shane (Madison Tayse) Beard and Jakeb and Easton Beard plus bonus grandson Aydan Lewis. She will be missed by her brother and sister in law’s, Jim and Kathy Buck, Jeff and Cecily Beard and Mark and Beverly Beard as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews and extended family Tara Butson and her grandchildren Caileigh and David.
Jennifer was also very fond of her fur babies and will be missed by her special dogs Louie, Leia, Ella, Mazie and Melody. She is joining her past fur babies Holley, Gretchen, Chrissy, Misty and Mindy.
Preceding her in death were parents Donald and Edna Buck and in- laws Don and Lorraine Beard, son David and grandson Nicholas Kupper.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place on a later date.
