Jennifer Bohlander went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Jenn’s life was marked by selfless love, compassionate serving and giving, and an inspirational faith. Her smile lit up a room, and her infectious laugh brought joy to everyone who experienced it. She was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Throughout her adult life, Jenn was a tireless volunteer and advocate for those in need. Professionally, she worked for 25 years as a scientific programmer and an Antarctic researcher with the National Snow and Ice Data Center at the University of Colorado. She loved running and completed several marathons and half marathons. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family and friends and especially being a mom to her daughter Lauren.
Jenn was a loving and devoted daughter and sister, an amazing wife and best friend to her husband, and a truly incredible, supportive and loving mother. She was a wonderful friend to many. Her death leaves an emptiness in the hearts of all who knew her, but more powerfully, her life leaves a light and a joy that will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.
Throughout her nearly seven-year experience with terminal cancer, Jenn’s faith in Jesus was - and continues to be - inspirational. She lived a life trusting in His goodness and faithfully reflecting His light, power and love. She continues to be an encouragement for all who loved her.
Jennifer, born July 7, 1970, is survived by her husband Brad Bohlander and her daughter Lauren Bohlander, her mother Geraldine Noyes and her sister Christine Bayless, and her father John Zaun.
Jennifer’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Frances Cabrini Parish, 6673 W Chatfield Ave, in Littleton, CO, 80128. All are welcome.
