Jennifer Anne Cafferty, 71 of Kingston, formerly Tillson. Jennifer was born in Tillson, NY to Patrick H. Cafferty and Shirley E. Cafferty. She attended Tillson Elementary school, Kingston High School and graduated Peekskill High School in 1972. After graduating High School, Jennifer became a proud member of the United Auto Workers and worked at the GM plant in Tarrytown, NY until it closed. She relocated to Pompano Beach, Florida where she worked for Publix supermarkets.

She returned to New York to live with her brother Brian in Rosendale in 1998, where she worked for a few local companies until she retired due to health issues. Throughout her life, Jennifer was a committed outdoor sports enthusiast. She was an avid motorcyclist, downhill skier, bicyclist, and while living in Florida she took up scuba diving, which she loved.

Notwithstanding her robust outdoor endeavors, Jennifer struggled with several health issues that often presented seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Jennifer confronted her disadvantages with the same zeal and passion she employed with her outdoor sports, and that was head on and with great tenacity. Jennifer's big heart and wonderful sense of humor were only exceeded by her unwillingness to cede to the challenges life heaped upon her. She never complained, she just persevered. Those who were fortunate to have known her were aware of this quality. She was a sweet soul, who dealt with her unfair share of life's hardships with a quiet grace and courage.

Jennifer had three brothers. Dennis Cafferty and Sean Cafferty of Florida predeceased her; she is survived by her brother, Brian Cafferty of Kingston, NY.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Rotary Park Pavilion at Kingston Point, 99 Delaware Ave, Kingston, NY 12401.
