Jennifer Anne (Lindsey) Donathan, 58, passed away June 30, 2024, at Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital after a courageous battle with metastatic Stage 4 lung cancer. Jennifer was born March 27, 1966, daughter of Harold A. Lindsey Sr. and Judith A. (Chattley) Lindsey of Ellsworth.
Jennifer was well known for her constant jokes, laughs, and love of family and friends. She loved playing bingo and socializing and loved to be involved with potlucks at Meadowview Apartments prior to her illness.
Jennifer is survived by her beautiful granddaughter Elizabeth Lindsey of Ellsworth and her loving son, Alonzo "Bo" Lindsey and his partner Lisa of Fletchers Landing, her "big Sis" Vivian Comeau of Ellsworth, awesome brother, Harold A. Lindsey Jr. and favorite sister-in-law, Carol Lyons Lindsey of Ellsworth, brother Jeff Lindsey of Linneus, and sister Theresa Lindsey and partner Floyd Brockway of Fletchers Landing. She also has many many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is also survived by other special people in her life, including Paula Seavey, her second mother, who Jen loved more than herself, dear friend Dominic DeMonte of Ellsworth, and best helper in the world Jeremy Wilkinson of Ellsworth.
Jennifer and the family would like to personally thank Kristy and Lacie and the staff of Beacon Hospice for their exceptional care and support of Jennifer. We would also like to thank Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital for their care of our dear sister. We would also like to thank those of you who helped financially with these arrangements.
Jennifer will be laid to rest at Woodbine Cemetery at a date still to be determined. There will be no "in lieu of flowers" in this obituary. Jennifer wants everyone to know that she wants flowers, "lots of them."
