Jennifer Andrea Egan of Wauwatosa passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the age of 37. She was born in Milwaukee on July 17, 1986. She was a graduate of Waukesha South High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in education from UW-Milwaukee.

Jennifer described herself as a mother, teacher, musician, gamer, and book worm. Jennifer was a Title 1 teacher in Milwaukee, serving as a reading interventionist for the last 15 years with a mission to teach every student the joy of being a lifelong learner and to dream big. Jennifer has been known in the Milwaukee area as the original music artist “Jennifer Andrea Egan.” Jennifer has been featured on Milwaukee radio, local news, and TV shows with her independent releases and performances in various bands. Jennifer’s love for music and performing was only outweighed by her love for her two beautiful children. As a mother, Jennifer devoted herself to the children's happiness and achieving their dreams. Jennifer will be greatly missed by all who had the fortune of interacting with her during her short time on earth.

She is survived by her husband, Ryan Egan, her two cherished children, Skylee and Logan; her grandparents who raised her Joseph and Barbara Dailey; her parents-in-law John and Jane Egan; brothers-in-law Matthew (Kate) Egan and Kyle (Janet) Egan and uncles Joseph (Kelly) Dailey and Sean Dailey. She is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held at Bridge Church, 1314 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186 on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 3:00 PM until the time of the 4:00 PM memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jennifer’s name are appreciated to NAMI Southeastern Wisconsin.
