Jennifer JoAnne (DeArmitt) Holtzclaw, 50, of Puyallup Washington, went to
be with the Lord on February 28, 2025 after a fierce, but short illness.
She was born on February 27, 1975, in Federal Way Washington to the late
William DeArmitt and Gail (DeArmitt) Karuza who continue to live in
Puyallup.
Jennifer married the love of her life, best friend, and soulmate Todd
Holtzclaw on July 6 2012.
Jennifer explored many forms of employment over her lifetime, but at the time of her passing was self-employed.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father William DeArmitt and her
brother, Jeffery Johnson, both of Tacoma Washington.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Todd; her sisters Julie Hartley, of
Clarion, Pennsylvania and her twin Melissa DeArmitt of Orting, Washington; two
step daughters that she was always so proud of, Heidi (Adam McDonald) and
Hannah Holtzclaw; and a niece Maddi Geddes, who she adored and loved as her very own.
Jennifer had a servant's heart that touched all she came in contact with. Whether
you were family or friend, co-worker or client, she loved you fiercely. She
would give you whatever she had if it could make your life better or you happier.
Jennifer experienced life head on and had no fear of new pursuits. From
skydiving, to motorcycles, to trying out Goat Yoga, she wanted to experience it all.
One of her favorite hobbies was "Squidding" with Todd during the annual runs. She
loved being out on the docks at night and enjoyed befriending the people they met
there. Jennifer loved animals of ALL kinds, and her favorites were the pups and cat
she and Todd raised: Diesel, Harley, Bert, Axel, Negan, EZ, Jimmy, and Hector.
There will be a celebration of life gathering in honor of her gift to all of us
(date TBD).
