Jennifer Marie Johnson, age 47, of Kimball Township, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2024, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Born on February 24, 1977, in Sarnia, Ontario, she was the cherished daughter of Joseph Paul and Susan Marie (Pettee) Robinson. Jennifer's life was a testament to love, laughter, and the joy of family.
On April 3, 2009, Jennifer married her soulmate, Delance, and together they created a life filled with happiness and devotion.
Jennifer's family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her children, Jarred Robinson, Kayliyah, Darien, and Dante Johnson; granddaughter, Zinnia; her loving parents, Joseph and Susan Robinson; her siblings, Ryan (Julie) Robinson and Katie Robinson; her niece, Sydney; and her nephews, Ryan Jr., Austin, Titan, and Jayce. Her family will remember her as the glue that held them together, the light that brightened their days, and the gentle strength that supported them through life's challenges. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Eugene Robinson, who she missed dearly.
A woman of many passions, Jennifer found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an exceptional cook, whose dishes were the highlight of family gatherings. Her hands were rarely still, as she poured her creativity into crafting, creating beautiful memories and keepsakes. The great outdoors called to her spirit, and she answered by going camping, where she found peace under the stars. Jennifer was also a cinephile, often found watching movies that made her laugh and cry, and a voracious reader who could always be found with a book in her hand.
Jennifer's love for relaxation was evident in her cherished rituals of taking long baths, cuddling up in her blankets, and spending time with her beloved dog, Bailey. These moments of tranquility were sacred to her and reflected her appreciation for life's quiet blessings.
Those who knew Jennifer will remember her as a loving, generous, and funny individual. Her laughter was infectious, her generosity knew no bounds, and her love was unconditional. She had the rare ability to light up a room with her humor and to make everyone feel like they were the most important person in the world.
As we say goodbye to Jennifer Marie Johnson, we celebrate a life lived with passion, kindness, and an abundance of love. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be cherished forever. Jennifer's spirit, now free, continues to inspire us to embrace life with the same fervor and grace that she did every day.
A gathering and viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center, 4521 Ravenswood Road, Kimball, MI 48074.
