Jennifer Ligon Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 18, 2024.
Jennifer Ellen Ligon, age 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept 1, 2024, at her residence in Vero Beach, FL. She was born August 13, 1962, in Detroit, MI. to Kenneth M. and Theresa (Von Fluee) Ligon II. She was a 1980 graduate of The Vanguard School in Lake Wales, FL which specializes in students with learning differences. Jenny's passion was her family, and she never missed a day to reach out to at least one of us. She was the original version of social media keeping everyone in the loop of what family members were up to. Despite health issues she lived independently and enjoyed many friends and social activities at the Lexington Club Apartments. She loved to listen to country music. Her pride and joy was her cat, Romeo, and she would be pleased to know we've found a wonderful home for him.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her beloved father. She is survived by her loving mother and three siblings, Laurie (Roland) Kenneth III (Kimberly) and Carol (Andrew) along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Those whose lives Jennifer touched are invited to a memorial celebration on Saturday, Sept. 21st beginning at 11:30 am at her mother's home at 521 Bay Dr. Vero Beach, FL where light refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: HALO, 710 Jackson Street, Sebastian, FL 32958.
