Jennifer Lynn McCubbin

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jennifer Lynn (Joiner) McCubbin, 49, of Harrisonville, Missouri, on April 24th, 2025, at 3:46 PM. Jennifer was a beloved wife, sister, mom, aunt, friend, and work colleague who touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering spirit and contagious laughter.
Of all the special gifts in life, however great or small, to have you as our sister was the greatest gift of all. Sissy, FaFa, Big Jen or Jenny: we will always think of you, miss you and love you forever. You fought so hard to stay, but your body said it was time to go home.
Born on July 25th, 1975, to Jerry and Carla Joiner, Jennifer brought joy and love to everyone she encountered throughout her life. Jennifer was a graduate from Sherwood High School, Creighton, MO, class of 1993. Jennifer went on to attend college at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. While attending college Jennifer worked at Dairy Queen in Harrisonville, MO, where she would later meet her future husband, Terry McCubbin. After four years of dating and with the help of a step stool, Terry and Jennifer became husband and wife on October 14th, 2000, in Kansas City, MO.
Jennifer had a passion for her many fur-babies, past and present; as well as, her family. She loved going to watch Danny and Derek play football and wrestle. She loved watching Brooklynn play volleyball. She loved playing BINGO and going to the Casino CHA CHING.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Terry McCubbin; her sister: Sue (Joiner) Dumont (Larry); four brothers: Daniel Joiner (Jennifer), Mike Roberts (Arletta), Matthew Joiner, and Bobby James; three daughters: Allison Campbell (Brett), Shian Duarte (Jason), and Ashley McCubbin; three granddaughters: Vanessa Toledano, Emma Campbell, and Elise Duarte; three nephews: Daniel and Derek Joiner, and Justin Dawson (Corrina); two nieces: Brooklynn Joiner and Courtney Stillwell; two great-nieces: Cheyenne Stillwell and Ashlyn Dawson; two great-nephews: Korbin Stillwell and Bentley Dawson; and many more family and friends. Jennifer will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Jennifer's family and friends will cherish the memories, celebrating a life well-lived. Jennifer was always there with a helping hand, a kind word, or a comforting presence, making the world a better place simply by being in it.
A 'Celebration of Life' will be held at a later date, where loved ones will gather to honor and celebrate Jennifer's remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Jennifer's GoFundMe
