Jennifer Saunders Obituary
A long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Jennifer's faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and comfort. Her hobbies included singing, which brought joy not only to her but also to those around her, cooking, which she used to express her love for her family, and photography, capturing moments of beauty and joy. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories.
In addition to her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Saunders; daughter, Suzanna Marie Saunders; and her sister, Barbara Allen Senter.
Jennifer leaves behind a loving family, including her children, Delena Helen Muncy and husband Ricky, Daniel Alvin Saunders and girlfriend Jess, David Alexander Saunders and fiancée Whitney, and Elizabeth Lynn Saunders. She is also survived by her sisters Frances Marie Senter, Shirley Ann Charles, Drema Darlene Leeke, Samantha Lynn Keller, and Ervin Joseph Senter. In addition, she has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She will be dearly missed and remembered for her kind heart, comforting hugs, and unwavering devotion to her family. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with funeral services held at 12:00pm with Pastor Spencer Oxford officiating at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in War, WV. Burial will follow at Big Creek Cemetery in Big Creek near Cucumber, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
