William Hicks Obituary
Haven was a resident of Warriormines for the greater part of his life. He was of the Protestant faith.
Haven is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include three sons, Christopher Jackson of Warriormine, WV, William Haven Hicks Jr of North Carolina, and Justin Hicks of North Carolina. Two sisters Donna Crigger of Yukon, WV and Theda Griffin of Dublin, VA. Two brothers John Hicks of Radford, VA, and Paul Hicks of Sylvatus, VA. Four nieces Regina Crigger, Jennifer Justice, Heather Hicks, and Tamera Griffin. Four nephews Jimmy Crigger, Wayne Jr. Crigger, Johnathan Hicks, and Jamie Griffin.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at Fanning Funeral Home in War, WV. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 8, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in War, WV with Pastor Gary Hicks, and Pastor Lacy Griffith officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Fanning Funeral Home of Welch is serving the family.

I will always remember us growing up together. He was like a brother to me.his mom and dad treated me like I was a part of the family.(Which I felt like I was and it was an honor). He was my best friend he was a loyal friend I'm proud he was a part of my life. I will miss him dearly and always have the memories that we shared in life. I will miss you brother.
