Jennifer Rearden Spence, a beloved member of the Warner Robins community, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and compassion. Born on February 6, 1980, Jennifer spent her life touching the lives of those around her with her big heart, generosity and strong will.
Growing up in Warner Robins, Jennifer attended Houston County High School, where she excelled athletically. She was a proud member of the softball team that secured the school's first state championship. Jennifer also displayed her passion for agriculture by showing cows and earning the esteemed title of Golden Eagle in 1998.
After high school, Jennifer pursued her education at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and Middle Georgia College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing. Her dedication to caring for others led her to a fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse, where she served tirelessly in the Emergency Room and Labor and Delivery at Houston Medical Center. Later, Jennifer became a part owner of Calle Vinas Home Health Care and Southeast Home Health Care, where she continued to make a positive impact on the lives of her patients and colleagues.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jennifer was a devoted wife and mother. She poured her heart into raising her children—Chase Watson, Hunter Gabriel, Jackson Lane, Avery Elizabeth, and Beckett Richmond. Jennifer was deeply involved in her children's activities, from football and baseball to wrestling, softball, and livestock showings. Her unwavering support and love knew no bounds.
In addition to her dedication to her family and career, Jennifer had a passion for raising French Bulldogs through Dirty South Frenchies, as well as caring for cows and horses. Her love for animals was evident in the joy she found in nurturing and raising them.
Jennifer will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 23 years, Joseph Lane Spence; her children, Chase, Hunter, Jackson, Avery, and Beckett; her parents, Neal and Cindy Rearden; her grandmother, Jeanne P. Watson; her brother Joseph Rearden (Brittany); her nephews, Luke and Cade; her niece, Allie, and a host of relatives, friends, and colleagues whose lives she enriched with her presence.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Jennifer will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
