Jennifer R. Wilson, age 43, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at her residence. She is free of her mental illness and addiction.
Jennifer was born March 22, 1979 in Menomonie, WI, to John and Barbara (Thompson) Wilson. After moving to the Stevens Point area, she attended and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1997. Following high school, she attended Viterbo College for a few years.
Jennifer was a passionate musician and actress, playing the piano and the flute. She was primarily a vocalist and had a beautiful singing voice. She sang with the Viterbo choir in Europe as part of her studies. Everyone who has known her knows how giggly and funny she was, her passion for music, and how hard she loved. She had an unconditional love for her daughter Ali and her beautiful singing and back rubs will be dearly missed. She had a great love for sweets and watching tv with her daughter.
Jennifer is survived by her daughter, Ali; her mother, Barbara (Thompson) Wilson; her father, John (Kathy) Wilson; a brother, John (Linnea) Wilson; a half-brother, Ben Wilson; and a step-brother, Brian (Laura) Wilson. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Jennifer's family would like to thank all the neighbors, friends and family for the love and support during this difficult time and ask that you continue to pray for Jennifer. She would have wanted, and needed, to be in our prayers.
A Memorial visitation will be held to honor Jennifer's memory from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Shuda Funeral Chapel - 2400 Plover Road, Plover, WI.
