On May 4, 2004, Billy married Charline Kirk in South Haven. She survives along with 4 children, Betty (Danny) McPhiel, Joyce (Benito) Desantiago, Kathleen (Ray) Ramirez, and Rusty (Kati) Posey; 15 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Also, surviving are his siblings, James, Ray, Wayne, and Larry Wilson; 2 sisters, Sharon Stanfield and Kay Gatlin. He was preceded by 1 son, Wendall Posey. His wife, Tina, survives.
Billy had worked for Walmart in South Haven as a Night Supervisor. He was a Deacon for Bangor Baptist Church.

My deepest sympathies for the loss of Deacon Billy. I remember him being a pillar at my uncle Pastor David´s church. He was so kind and he loved my uncle, family, and the church family. He also helped in the pantry and when I came to visit, he gave me plenty of food to take home. May he rest in peace and prayers for strength to his family and loved ones. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
