Jennifer Zullo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by The White Funeral Home on Feb. 27, 2026.
Jennifer A. Zullo, 51, passed away on February 26, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. Born on April 4, 1974 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene Petronis Farruggio.

Jennifer's academic journey was marked by her determination and intellect, earning her a Master's Degree from Clarkson University. Her professional career was equally distinguished, resulting in a position as a research scientist with the New York State Division of Data and Strategy.

Jennifer married the love of her life, Benny J. Zullo on July 18, 1998, who stood by her side as a partner in every sense, sharing in the joys and challenges life presented. Together, they raised a family that included their children, Austin and Heather Zullo, and her beloved huskies, Keeta and Ghost. In addition, Jennifer is survived by her siblings, Christopher Farruggio, Joseph A. Farruggio Jr. (Karen), and Rebecca Farruggio-Secrete.

Jennifer had a zest for life that extended well beyond her academic and professional achievements. She was an avid adventurer, and enjoyed both setting sail in open waters and camping under the stars. These moments, often shared with her family and friends, were the ones she treasured the most, and she took every opportunity she could to create lasting memories with them.

Jennifer's family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at The White Funeral Home, 264 N. Ballston Ave., Scotia, NY from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Jennifer will be laid to rest at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna at a later time.

As you fought the fight every single day, you wore a smile through it all - like a warrior. Your strength, your courage, and your grace in the face of it all inspired everyone around you. Even on the hardest days, you showed up with light.

I will cherish every moment of our friendship.

Our adventures, our travels, our long talks, and endless laughter will forever be imprinted on my heart.

I love you more!!!
