Jeremiah John "Jeremy" Silva

Jeremiah "Jeremy" John Silva arrived in the world April 29, 1974 after a ride in an ambulance that closed the Dumbarton Bridge and from that moment on he loved loud noises and being where there was action. He also loved rides on the freeway; every drive, no matter how short, had to include a trip on the freeway.
The first thing most people noticed about Jeremy was his laugh. He was a lover of life and took pleasure in even the smallest moments. He laughed loud and often. He loved watching all kinds of sports and especially loved race cars; the louder and faster, the better. A typical big brother, he also laughed any time one of his sisters got in trouble.
Though many might have seen his life as limited by disability, he enjoyed every moment from lighting up when seeing his favorite care givers to enjoying his favorite food (all food was his favorite food.) He helped those around him to enjoy their days a little more too, following his example.
Jeremy passed away after a brief illness on April 6, 2025, in Vacaville, California. He was 50 years old.
Jeremy will be lovingly remembered by his parents, John and Jennifer Silva; his sisters Sarah Silva, Jennie Perri and her husband Scott Perri, and Rachel Williams and her husband Matt Williams; and his nephew Keaton Perri. Jeremy's memory is also cherished by those who knew and worked with him throughout his life. A special thank you to everyone at Milestones of Development and at Pathways.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents Tony Silva, Ella May Silva, Pat Silva, Philip Hazlett, Polly Hazlett, and his brother Derek Silva.
