It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremy Robert Gath, 47, of Gainesville, NY on September 28, 2025.
Born in Hornell, NY on November 13, 1977 to Robert and Diane Gath who survive. Jeremy was predeceased by his sister Alicia in 2023.
Jeremy was a proud and dedicated father to Logan and Riley Gath of Gainesville, NY. In addition to his children, Jeremy is survived by his grandmother, Barbara Gath of Mt. Morris, the children’s mother, Becky (Adam) Wright, and together the three of them were raising the kids together. Jeremy coached Little League baseball and soccer in Nunda and Letchworth when the children were younger.
If Jeremy wasn’t at one of his kid’s sporting events cheering them on, then you could find him fishing or golfing, or lending a hand to friends or family with a building project. Jeremy’s favorite activity was by far spending time with Logan and Riley.
Jeremy was employed for over 24 years at Dalton Builders Inc. His job took him all over New York and Pennsylvania.
Jeremy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends along the way.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Dalton American Legion, 10053 State Street, Dalton, NY on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1-4 pm.
