Jeremy R. "Moose" Moore

Jeremy Randal Moore, affectionately known as Moose, age 37, of McEwen, TN, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025. He was born in Dickson, TN, on October 20, 1987, to Gary Randal Moore and Ava Rye Hinson. When Jeremy was younger, he enjoyed being outdoors and coon hunting with his pawpaw. Jeremy was a faithful member of Wildwood Valley Church of Christ. He was known by others as a gentle, kind soul. Jeremy's daughter, Parker was his world. He cherished spending time and supporting her at cheerleading, softball, or any adventure she wanted to do. Jeremy will be remembered by others as loving daddy, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Parker Moore; father, Gary Moore; mother, Ava Hinson (Mark); aunts, Marilyn Shepard (James) and Amy Gardner; grandmother, Alneita Rye; cousins, Raphael Shepard, Virgil Shepard, Cameron Shepard, and Macy Browning; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lucille and Virgil Moore and maternal grandfather, Herman Rye.
A visitation for Jeremy will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 4:00 P.M. Bro. Jeremy McFarlin will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor in Jeremy's memory, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This foundation was very special to Jeremy. He enjoyed hunting and hunted at their St. Judes Hunt when they had it. One year, he qualified for a Scholarship Hunt, through the organization.
