Jeri Willow Obituary

Jeri Ann Willow, 75, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on September 2, surrounded by the people she loved most: her daughter Tammy, son-in-law Todd, grandson Jacob, and her beloved grandpuppies. Born on August 2, 1950, Jeri lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to family and sports.

A lifelong sports fan, Jeri especially loved cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies-and rooting just as passionately against the New York Mets. She was a loyal Penn State supporter and never missed a game, whether it was on TV or in the stands. Her very favorite athletes, however, were her daughter Tammy and grandson Jacob. Jeri was their biggest fan, attending every game, never making excuses, and always cheering (and yelling at referees and umpires) with joy, pride, and love.

Jeri's work ethic carried through a long career. She began at JPM Company in Lewisburg, served as a supervisor at Wilhold in Sunbury until its closing, then worked at Yorktown in Mifflinburg, and finally retired from the bakery at Country Cupboard.

Above all, Jeri cherished her family. Her daughter Tammy was her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with her loved ones. She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Todd) Erb, grandson Jacob, sisters Cindy Remphrey and her daughter Kendra, and Rae Crebs (Robert) along with their children, niece Trisha Schmehl (Mark) and their children Elliot and Sophia, and nephew Keith. She is also survived by her brother Todd Willow (significant other Joanne).

She is preceded in death by her father Elwood Willow, mother Margaret (Brosious) Willow, and sister-in-law Connie Willow (Hummel) and brother-in-law Harold Remphrey.

Jeri's love was fierce, her presence constant, and her cheering voice unforgettable. Her family will carry her spirit with them in every game played, every laugh shared, and every memory made.

Services will be held at Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St. Milton, on September 18, visitation from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, service from 5:30pm to 6pm with a dinner to follow. All are welcome to attend to honor this beautiful, courageous and strong mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
