Shirley L. Willow, 89, of Richfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at her residence.
Born on October 15, 1935 in Cocolamus, Juniata County, she is a daughter of the late Harry N. and Evelyn P. (Leister) Stuck. On November 6, 1954, she married her surviving husband, Palmer E. "Pete" Willow whom she was blessed to share over 70 years of marriage before her passing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Bradley A. Willow of York; and two sisters, Linda K. Shaffer and her husband Butch of Richfield and Beverly A. Troutman and her husband Chop of McAlisterville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kim E. Willow in 2001.
Mrs. Willow was a 1953 graduate of Fayette High School in McAlisterville and was a member and attended the Richfield Community Church.
She was a proud homemaker who, in earlier life, assisted her husband in the family business.
Shirley enjoyed shopping, watching the news, traveling, discussing anything to do with politics and participating and helping with Richfield Dutch Days; however, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially in York with her Son.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Brown's Church, 33401 Route 35 North, Cocolamus with Pastor Brian Myfelt and Pastor Mike Neimond officiating. Interment will follow in Richfield Union Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Willow's memory can be made to the Richfield Community Church, 691 Ridge Road, Richfield, PA 17086 or to the Richfield Community Center, P.O. Box 151, Richfield, PA 17086.
