Samuel Lee Rudy, 73,of Milton, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025. Born on June 10th,1952, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Walter Rudy and Nora (Kennedy) Rudy.

Sam shared 43 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rhonda Rudy. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around love, laughter, and family. He was the proud father of Bradley Rudy of Milton and Samantha Rudy of Beech Creek, and the cherished grandfather of Kyle, Katrina, Kennedy, Kara, Kalynn, Kandon, and Kinsleigh Rudy, Kayden Betz who were the light of his life.

For 30+ Years, Sam worked as a welder at Strick's and Great Dane, where he was respected for his skill, work ethic, and dedication. Beyond his career, he was deeply involved in his community as a Milton Little League coach and as a Boy Scout leader for Troop 607, where he had the privilege of mentoring young men-including his own son-through life lessons, adventures, and achievements.

Sam had a passion for the outdoors and the water. Whether he was deep sea fishing, enjoying time at the beach with his family, or spending quiet weekends at the family hunting cabin, he was happiest surrounded by the people and places he loved most.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, his strong work ethic, and above all, his devotion to his family. While his loss is deeply felt, there is comfort in knowing that Sam is reunited with his mother, whom he dearly loved, and together they rest in peace.

Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and services will be held privately for his immediate family.
