Jericho James Robertson, born on November 9th, 2023, in
Waxahachie, TX, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, March 10th, at 8:30 pm. Jericho, cherished by many, was the beloved child of Casey and Madison Robertson. He is survived by his great grandparents; Papa Bill Bond, Bill and Raye Deane Barker; and grandparents, Richard and Tracy Robertson, Dennis and Donita Zimmerman, Anthony and Tricia Lohden; and his aunt and uncles, Amber and Nathan Helm, Amanda and Cody Smith, Heather Zimmerman, Bond and Brittany Lohden, Cole and Anna Lohden, and Landri and Travis Stroope. He also leaves behind his cherished cousin circle: London, Paris, Dallas, Kynzii, Blaine, Gabriel, Rhylen, Tristen, Jameson, Bodhi, Hayes, Kendall, Chamberlin, and Carli. Among those who mourn his passing are the family's closest friends, Jake and Madison Davis, who held a cherished place in Jericho's heart.
Jericho, affectionately known as JJ, Bubbas, and Turtle, was the light of his parents' lives. He was a prayer answered, a precious gift bestowed upon them. His presence graced the world with warmth and joy from the moment he arrived. Though his time on earth was brief, his impact was profound. Jericho was a fighter, displaying strength beyond his years in his battle to remain with his loved ones. With porcelain skin, piercing blue eyes, and auburn locks, Jericho was a picture of perfection. His tiny hands, ticklish feet, and button nose brought endless delight to those who knew him. He possessed a cuddly nature that brought comfort to all who held him close.
Yet, as it is written in Luke 18:16, Jesus called for Jericho to join Him, declaring, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God."
In heaven, Jericho is now reunited with his great-grandparents, James and Mary Kinder, Grandaddy Roy James Lohden, after whom he was named. Additionally, he is joined by his great-grandparents, Grandpa Ralph, Grandmommy Jerry Lohden, and Mimi Connie Sue Farley. Their enduring love will forever guide him as he embarks on his eternal journey.
In honoring Jericho's memory, let us cherish the time we shared with him and find solace in the eternal love he leaves behind.
These are my footprints
These are my footprints, so perfect and so small.
These tiny footprints, never touched the ground at all.
Not one tiny footprint, for now I have my wings.
These tiny footprints were meant for other things.
You will hear my tiny footprints, in the patter of the rain.
Gentle drops like angels tears, of joy and not from pain.
You will see my tiny footprints, in each butterflies' lazy dance.
I'll let you know I'm with you, if you give me just a chance.
You will see my tiny footprints, in the rustle of the leaves.
I will whisper names into the wind, and call each one that grieves.
Most of all, these tiny footprints, are found in mommy's heart,
'cause even though I'm gone now, we'll never truly part.
